August Digital Planner Layout
The theme for my August digital planner layout is the ocean. On Instagram, I saw a couple of beautiful ocean and mermaid bullet journal themes and I fell in love with the idea of creating an ocean theme layout on my digital planner.

My August Digital Planner Layout – Video:
For this month’s layout, I used the Procreate app to decorate some of the pages of my planner. Check out the video to learn how I decorated my planner.
Index:
On all my digital planner layout posts, I like to share how I fill out the index of my planner. Every number on the index of my planner is clickable and it takes me to a specific page on the planner.
My current August layout starts on page 62 until page 67.
August cover page:
I wanted to keep the pages simple with a little bit of color here and there. The sticky notes on the corners of the left page help me keep track of important emails and payments that I need to do through the month. I started using the memories and goals trackers stickers in my July setup and they have been extremely helpful. Every day I try to accomplish 3 – 5 big goals.
I use the page on the right to keep track of small goals and things that I need to do through the day. This layout is a little bit less strict and more flexible since I break the day’s tasks into different sections.

Every month I choose a quote depending on how I’m feeling or how much motivation I need to start the month. For the month of August I choose the quote:
“Cherish your visions and dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blue prints of your ultimate achievements.” – Napoleon Hill
I write the quote in all my cover page and I also add it to the quote’s section of my planner.
These two pages are so beautiful! I used the app Procreate to decorate these pages. Take a screenshot of the blank pages of the planner, import the screenshot into the Procreate app and decorate it using the different brushes from the app.

I used the Procreate app to add a background image to these two pages and reduced the opacity of the image. I’m filling the savings tracker jar with patterns.
I added a mood tracker printable to the right page. You can actually use the pen option in the GoodNotes app to practice hand lettering on this printable. At the bottom of the page, I added “my thoughts” section to write down anything that is bothering me or things that I want to get off my chest.
How I plan my layouts:
Before I conclude this blog post, I want to show you how I plan my monthly layouts. I always draw a quick sketch of what I want to design for that month. Instagram and Pinterest are my best friends when I need to find inspiration to draw anything on my planner.
Drafts always help me get an idea of how I want the pages of the planner to look and how I can improve my designs.
