The Best Pencil Cases for School and Bullet Journaling

I’m addicted to collecting pens, notebooks, and other school supplies products. There is nothing better than having a pencil case that meets all my needs.

Here is a review of all my favorite pencil cases. Some cases I bought them at stores like Ross, T.J.Maxx, and Amazon. I will link the exact product or a similar one in the title.

1.   “Flip Book” pencil case

This case is amazing if you are extremely picky with organization, if you like to carry a lot of pens everywhere, or if you don’t want your pencils or brushes to get damaged inside your bag. I use this case for college (I feel like I need every single pen that is inside this case lol). The only bad thing about it is how thick it is. Sometimes is difficult to fit it in a small purse or backpack.

I put the same amount of items in every case. If you are wondering what are the items inside my pencil case: (I tried to find the exact item, if not a similar one)

Left to right: ruler, eraser, Pilot B2P Colors – Bottle to Pen, black erasable pen, Pilot FriXion Pencil (they are pens, not pencils)

Left to right: Ultra Fine Point Dry Erase Markers (I don’t recommend these ones, they dried out pretty quickly. If you want long lasting dry-erase markers, buy Dry Erase Markers – Ultra Fine Tip), green highlighter (These dried out quickly too. I recommend Pilot Highlighter Frixion Light, they last a very long time) Paper Mate Flair pens, Pilot FriXion Pencil.

Left to right: dollar tree colorful pens,  Erasable Colored Pencils (these ones are color pencils), small cute white out tape,  small pencil sharpener.

No matter what position you put the case, nothing will fall out of it.

2. Roll-on Case

This case is great if you want all your pens in front of you. The only bad thing is when you fill all the case with pens or pencil, it gets really thick; which makes it hard to carry in a small purse or backpack. This case is not college desk friendly. Since the desks are so small and the case is long, everything ends up falling out. If you love going to coffee shops or places where the tables are long, this case is perfect for that! This case did not work for me, so I gave it to my best friend since she loves to draw. I’m still attaching a picture for your reference:

3. Roll-on Case + Pouch

This one is similar to the roll-on case but is has a pocket for extra pens, erasers, and/or a ruler. This one is awesome for school. I usually lay it out on my lap and choose the pens that I need. I bought this pencil case at Ross, but here is a similar one.

4. Pouch Pencil Case

This one is one of my favorite because it has several pockets. A front pocket for my ruler, a thin pocket for my eraser, pencil sharpener, and my 3 most used pens, and a big pocket for all my pens.

5. Small Pencil Case

If love cute things, like me. I fell in love with this small pencil case. Is great to carry it anywhere. You can fit a lot of pens inside the big pocket. I put my eraser, whiteout tape, and pencil sharpener in the small front pocket.
