As a senior in college, I have tried many agendas and planners. There are different colors, prices, and designs. Each one of them serves a different purpose or you can modify them to serve your needs.
I buy my planners at T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, Target, or Walmart. If I find the planner online, I will link it the planner’s title.
large planner (a similar version of this planner)
I love larger planners because you can fit a printable to-do list and/or you can write as much as you want without fearing of running out of space. This one has a hard cover, which is awesome for students that carry a lot of things in their backpacks.
This planner is a 2016-2017 calendar.
If you tend to make a lot of mistakes when you write and hate using and wasting white out, I recommend that you use erasable pens.
Here is an example of how I write in my planners: I try to separate my school to-dos from my everyday’s to-do list.
Here is an example of how erasable pens can make a huge difference in a planner. Not only does it helps you keep a planner neat and organize, it doesn’t damage the page or leave marks like using whiteout.
2. Large Planner #2: Orange Circle Studio 17-Month 2017
This planner has a plastic cover, which is awesome if you love putting stickers on notebooks or agendas, but you don’t want to ruin the pretty cover.
This particular planner comes with stickers. It has the most common stickers for any student: doctor’s appointment, due date, reminder, meetup( coffee), birthdays… e.t.c.
The best thing about this big planner is how you can write on it. I can easily write all my assignments for August and still have extra space to write other things.
I love when I can see two weeks at the same time. I can see all my current assignments and upcoming assignments. This planner has built in lines in the week, I don’t have to worry about writing crooked or side-ways.
This is awesome! I almost never see a planner with a pocket on the back. This is great for those of us who love carrying large sticky notes or we just shove a paper that needs to be filed later.
3. Medium size planner:
Out of all the planners that I own this one is my favorite! The layout of it is amazing, beautiful, elegant, and simple.
The month’s squares are big to write several assignment due dates. On the right side, there is a notes section.
I think I love this layout because it reminds me of my bullet journal lol. On the left side I write everything related to school and what we are going to cover next. On the right side, there is a divider between notes and to-dos.
Here is an example of how I set-up this page: I list the school stuff from most important (top) to the least important (bottom)
I often change my mind when I finish writing or drawing something in my planner. I decided that physics was more important than statistics. I erased those two categories and wrote them in the correct order.
4. Medium planner #2: Just Right Monthly Planner
This planner is thin, which is awesome for any backpack or purse.
The month boxes are big enough to write due dates.
At the back of the planner, there are several pages which you can detach.
Here is an example of how I use the detachable section or pages of this planner. I try to keep the same school layout for all my planners.
This is where erasable pens come handy. There is only a limited amount of pages at the back of the planner, around 6. If you write a lot of to-do lists, but you want to have a simple planner, this planner is perfect for you!
On the back, there is a pocket.
5. Small planner: Clementine paper inc
This planner is cute, girly, and small. It has a little bit of the bullet journal layout.
The best part about it is how much information your can put in it. It is divided it in several categories.
The schedule or school section is great!
The only downside of a small planner is that you can only write so much in them. Here, the month calendar is small, but you can still write your due assignments.
You can customize some of the black pages:
The week section has lines, this makes writing easier and less messy.
Big versions or similar of this planner:
- Mead Academic Year Weekly / Monthly Planner / Appointment Book
- Blue Sky 2016-2017 Academic Year Weekly & Monthly Planner
6. Flat small planner:
I love how simple this planner is, the only thing that stands out is the front cover.
The pages are black and white:
This planner doesn’t have the weekly section, but it has a couple of blank pages in the back. If you are wondering, I bought this planner at T.J.Maxx, I couldn’t find it online.
7. Small planner #2:
Here is another small planner. This one is not as plain as the one before but is small enough to write your school assignments.
It doesn’t open flat, like the previous planners. That’s the only reason why I put it at them bottom of the list. You can find it at T.J.Maxx or marshalls.
I hope you enjoyed the long list of planners for college and school. Do you have a planner that I didn’t mention? Post a comment in the comment section 🙂
