Days of the Week hand lettering practice worksheets

Practice your hand lettering skills with these Days of the Week hand lettering practice worksheets. The goal is to use two different font styles and mix them together to create beautiful weekly titles.

You can use this printable in two ways. One way is on your iPad using the Procreate app. Another way is to print the printables and use them with your favorite lettering brush pens. I will show you how I use this printable on my iPad and on paper.

My favorite brushes to practice lettering are the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. You can also try practicing with regular markers to track your progress and see the difference in brushes. If you want to create thick lines put more pressure on the pen and put less pressure on the brush pen to create a thin line.

For the words on top of the lettering, I’m using the Pilot B2P pen 0.7. I love this pen because the ink is really black and it’s easy to use on any paper.

Days of the Week hand lettering practice worksheets – Procreate:

Here is a tutorial to help you import your printables into the Procreate app. I use the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil to practice on Procreate. You can use any stylus you have, but the Apple Pencil is pressure sensitive which is why it stands out from any other stylus pens.

My favorite brushes to use are iPad Lettering Brushes and Behance Brushes. Other awesome places to find brushes for the Procreate app are the Creative Market and The Hungry JPEG. Make sure to always create a new layer before you start working on the lettering printables.
