Handmade gifts have more meaning to me than store-bought presents. When I was creating these printables, I was thinking of my mom. My mom is a strong and beautiful woman. I want her to know that I admire her for all her achievements and for all the love she constantly gives me.

How I Decorate the Hand Lettering Printables:
In the video below, I show you how I use different methods to decorate one of the printables. I took my time to trace over the letters, there is no rush to finish the practice sheets. For the words “Dear Mom”, I outlined the words with my Twintone markers and then color-in the inside of the words using colored pencils.
For the sentences ” You are Beautiful” and “You are Amazing”, I traced over the letters using the Tombow brush pens and then I traced over the words with the thin side of the TwinTone markers. I added bubbles and hearts at the beginning and ends of the words to give the page a little bit of more color.
For the words “You are Strong”, I outlined the sentence with a blue Pilot erasable marker and then used an erasable color pencil in the same light blue color to fill in the words. Towards the end of the video, I added a cloud and a sun because to me the paper looked plain.

For these practice sheets, I recommend using the Tombow dual brush pens. Start tracing over the words with very little pressure. Put more pressure on the brush to trace over the thick parts of the letters and put less pressure in the brush to trace over the thin parts of the words.
Another way to decorate the phrases is by outlining the words with the small side of the brush pen and then use the other side of the pen to fill in the words. You can also fill in the words with color pencils to create a pretty contrast between the colors.
