For the bold script fonts, I recommend the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Flip the brush pen over and use the thin side or put less pressure on the brush to trace over the thin script fonts. If you need to resize the practice sheets check out this tutorial or adjust the scale before printing. A couple of tips to keep in mind when drawing on the practice sheets:

  • If you want to try something different, I suggest you outline the letters with the thin side of the brush pen and then use a colored pencil to add color to the letters.
  • You might have to resize the printable or trace over the letters twice as the font is wide.
  • Put less pressure on the brush to create thin strokes and put more pressure on the brush to create thick strokes.
  • Don’t rush! Take your time drawing each stroke, this will allow you to have more control over the brush pen.
  • Don’t like how it turned out? Try it again! The more you practice hand lettering the better you are going to be at it!

These printables can also be used as March headers in your bullet journal, follow the instructions on this awesome tutorial!
